1. contemptuous- adjective. showing or expressing contempt or disdain; scornful.
2. defiance- a daring or bold resistance to authority or to any opposing force.
3. dumfounded- as if struck dumb with astonishment and surprise
4. finicky- excessively particular or fastidious; difficult to please; fussy
5. heathen- an irreligious, uncultured, or uncivilized person.
6. incomprehensible- Difficult or impossible to understand or comprehend; unintelligible
7. nonchalantly-Seeming to be coolly unconcerned or indifferent
8. spliced- to join together or unite (two ropes or parts of a rope) by the interweaving of strands
9. cascades- a waterfall descending over a steep, rocky surface.
10. Chagrined- a feeling of vexation, marked by disappointment or humiliation.b
