MY SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN SPELLING VOCABULARY
1. poaching-illegal hunting
2. exertion-physical or mental effort
3. cache-a collection of items of the same type stored in a hidden or inaccessible place
4. ventilate-cause air to enter and circulate freely in
5. ferocity-the state or quality of being ferocious(savagely fierce)
6. hemlock-a highly poisonous European plant of the parsley family, with a purple-spotted stem, fernlike leaves, small white flowers, and an unpleasant smell

9. niche-place or position (something) in a niche.
